As someone who also lives with chronic pain, I can relate to the struggle

With our bogged-down healthcare systems, those experiencing persistent pain are often given a pill and sent on their way, rather than devoting time for the nuanced journey of chronic pain management – this is where my passion lies! 

Combining theoretical and practical knowledge from my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and my post-graduate certificate in pain management, in addition to lived-experience, I integrate knowledge with gentle movement to manage my own symptoms, and I want to help others unlock their potential. 

Within the Flow State App, I run an accessible online qigong practice, which includes: education, movement adaptations, and fatigue management. 

The Flow State Framework will help you calm your nervous system, feel in control of your good days and bad days, and feel reconnect to your body

Phase 1 - Recover

Persistent or chronic pain can be very draining, so before we can start shifting habits and doing the deeper work, we have to get some of your energy back. The small changes we make in this phase will fit seamlessly into your day while also creating more energy, having you feel more empowered, and show you how to build some foundational systems that you’ll need when you’re ready to prevent the burnout experience from ever coming back.

Phase 2 - Optimize

Now that you have a bit more energy, it’s time to make your life easier! In this phase we focus on creating systems, building in automatic habits, and creating routines that optimize your energy, focus, and motivation. By the end of this program you’ll feel like confident in your ability to predict pain flare ups and will be able to consistently have the energy to keep up with what you really want to do!

Phase 3 - Elevate

Now that we have your external reality optimized it’s time to work on your internal systems and habits…you know, that unbalanced people pleaser, the nasty negative self-talk, and the impostor syndrome that leaves you doubting yourself every step of the way. In a few short weeks you will be back in control of the conversation that goes on in your brain, negative self-talk will no longer stop you, and impostor syndrome or taking things personally will be a thing of the past.

Ongoing Classes
